Chennai: Water tank at Kapaleeswarar Temple goes dry thanks to the harsh summer

The landmark tank at Kapaleeswarar Temple has gone dry, due to the scorching summer sun and lack of rain. And with water levels in Chembarambakkam, Poondi, Cholavaram and Red Hills reservoirs - which supply drinking water to Chennai - also fast drying up, residents of the city are bracing up for a harsh summer.
